KAMPALA:- Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has told a France 24 TV that the recent coup in Guinea Conakry that pushed its long serving leadr Alpha Conde should be condemned.
“Coups are outdated. They (coup leaders) should get out,” Museveni said.
The Guinean leader was ousted in a coup on Sunday following his controversial return to power for a Third Term in office.
In the interview carried out at State House Entebbe in Uganda, President Museveni also took a swipe at neighbouring Rwanda accusing its former ally of closing the border between the two countries for two years.
“Go and ask the one who closed it,” Museveni answered the French TV journalist who sought to know what he is doing about Uganda’s relations with its south western neighbour.
