Well, on Tuesday I woke up early and was preparing my self to travel to Kampala City for a few meeting appointments and errands!
My trip was cut short by what I saw on WhatsApp! Reports of explosions in the city centre!
I could no longer maintain my composure not until I switched on my ka small village radio and heard the Police spokes person Mr Fred Enanga giving more details.
My journey was cancelled including all my appointments I had for the remaining days of the week! What a loss!
Now, these bomb blasts or explosive or whatever security personnel would want to call them, are eye openers to all of us Ugandans and non Ugandans.
Let us not point fingers at security agencies, let us put politics aside, let us stop the blame games about who has done what and not done the other, let us not blame President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni alone but rather unite, reorganize and work together as a nation to defeat elements of terrorism that seem to be infiltrating our communities and the Capital City.
The motives of these useless life takers, suicide bombers are not yet clear!
Though these cowards are already here and with in us.
We now have to be more vigilante as Citizens of this great nation called Uganda, we need to be each others’ keeper and let security organs and Government do their best.
If we unite as a Country, we will defeat these wrong elements with in our society.
And there is no any other way, but working together as a people of Uganda.
COVID19 has already done more harm than good on our livelihood or sources incomes and the economy is on recovery so if we work collectively, there will be no need to panic or be afraid of these cowards killing innocent citizens.
Let us be more focused on safeguarding our fellow human beings. Follow security guide lines.
Those with in public transport, eating places especially those on or near Petrol stations, please strengthen your security measures, as well mosques, Churches and even those holding social events like parties be on the look out. The enemy is now with in but we shall surely defeat these bad elements.
May the souls we have lost in bomb or explosive attacks rest in peace.
For God & My Country Uganda.
