Kabale Municipality Member of Parliament (MP), Dr. Nicholas Kamara, has Thursday launched his health campaign by donating an Ultrasound scan to Kamukira Health Centre IV, Kirigime.
The scan will test pregnancies in early stages and monitor progress of pregnancy at different stages during Antenatal care. According to Dr. Kamara, the services will improve the quality of care offered to pregnant women.
In addition, the machine will be used to scan for fibroids, check enlarged prostate, acute Appendicitis and accident victims with suspected abdominal organ damage.
These services will be free of charge, the experienced clinical and public health practitioner and Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) alumni, Dr. Kamara.
