NAKAWA-UGANDA, May 8, 2023: The people of Nakawa West have praised city tycoon Mukesh Shukla, the Director of Shumuk Group of Companies, for his contribution to the community’s economic growth.
Mukesh has employed many of the area’s residents across his numerous companies, providing much-needed job opportunities and support.
This commendation comes at a time when Mukesh has been embroiled in a land-grabbing scandal, with his land on Plot 26 Mukabya Road in Nakawa Division being taken by fellow businessmen.
“Despite losing the recent Nakawa West Parliamentary seat, many residents still hold Mukesh in high regard due to his unwavering commitment to the community,” says David Muwonge, a trader at Bugolobi Market.
Some of the youth who used to operate their businesses on Mukesh’s land have been left jobless since the grabbers chased them away, and the land was fenced off with iron sheets.
The matter is currently in court, and the Nakawa West community eagerly awaits a decision that will see the land returned to Mukesh.
Mukesh is not only a businessman but also a politician and a potential leader.
His commitment to creating job opportunities and supporting the community’s economic growth has earned him the respect and admiration of many.
The residents of Nakawa West have realized that their main problem is poverty and unemployment and that they need leaders who can create job opportunities.
Many of them now regret not voting for Mukesh in the recent Nakawa West Parliamentary elections, realizing that they made the mistake of promoting sectarianism and tribalism instead of voting for someone who could help them.
“They have learned their lesson and pledged to vote wisely in future elections, choosing candidates who can wash away their problems and contribute to the community’s growth,” says an aide to Mukeshi.
Mukesh Shukla is a perfect example of the type of leader that the people of Nakawa West need.
“He is an employer, a tycoon, a money bag, and a person who has something to add to the community and the country at large. The community needs to vote for leaders who can make a positive impact and bring much-needed change to the area,” suggests Muwonge.
