The NWSC has embarked on an ambitious Water for All program whose objective is to ensure 100% service coverage across the country.
To achieve this, the corporation is focused on Geographical expansion, Infrastructure development, Implementation of water supply stabilization initiatives, Implementation of the SCAP 100 project aimed at ensuring every village in Uganda has at least one safe water source, Stakeholder engagement, and Environmental protection.

Number of People Served with Piped Water

In 2013, NWSC extended this vital service to 4,500,000 people, a significant achievement in its own right. However, the subsequent years bore witness to an astonishing fourfold increase, with 18,000,000 people benefiting from piped water by 2023. The projected figure for 2028 showcases NWSC’s dedication, estimating that an astounding 28,000,000 people will have access to this life-changing resource, underlining the Corporation’s tireless commitment to reaching every Ugandan.
Number of Customer Connections
NWSC’s aspiration to serve more customers is abundantly clear in the number of customer connections. In 2013, the Corporation had 296,206 customer connections. Over the course of a decade, this number almost tripled, reaching 874,129 customer connections by 2023. Looking forward to 2028, NWSC anticipates an even greater expansion, targeting 1,250,000 customer connections. Pipe Network Length (Kms)
