MUKONO: A Ugandan NGO Creek for Christ Foundation has reached out and granted relief to single mothers in the Busega are of west Kampala City.
The Director, Mr. Emmanuel Nvule says the NGO supports single mothers, vulnerable children and persons with intellectual disabilities.
Nvule was last week joined by staff from the USA led by Pastor Sam, a young adult pastor at Trinity Life Church Maryland.
The pastor preached the gospel to the single struggling mothers in Busega. Not only did the NGO preach the gospel, the team launched a relief programme called ‘Single Mother Bucket’ project where each mother benefited from 5 kilogrammes of maize flour, 3 kilogrammes of sugar and a bar of soap.
“Jesus says in Mark 16:15, that go into the entire world and preach and publish the good news to every creature of the whole human race,” Nvule Emmanuel quoted.
He encouraged each Christian to preach the gospel for the end times are near. He said we do not get salvation to get rid of poverty rather to go to heaven.
Mr. Nvule Emmanuel thanked the team from the US and other supporters that made this prject a success and asked whoever wants to join their kind of work is welcome.
He promised to keep empowering women, persons with intellectual disabilities and the vulnerable children.
